THE 5 MOBILE APPS I USED MOST THIS YEAR

THE 5 MOBILE APPS I USED MOST THIS YEAR

The tools you choose to use and how you choose to use them can make or break your business when trying to meet your goals as a small business owner. I’m always looking for ways to simplify my life, find multifunctional apps, and make everyday tasks easier.

These five apps have been absolute game-changers when it comes to making my life run a little bit more smoothly.

  1. HASHTAG EXPERT:
I know everyone says hashtags are out, but I wholeheartedly disagree — I still get plenty of traffic from using them. One of the reasons why is probably Hashtag Expert. With their app, you can search a hashtag and get recommended collections, generate your own with coordinating stats through the app, or save, copy, and paste previous collections. They even tell you whether or not a hashtag or hashtag collection will be good for your account with an A-D rating. This app makes the sometimes intimidating or exhausting process of finding relevant hashtags 1000x simpler.

  2. CANVA:
I’ve mentioned Canva several times on my social media accounts, and for good reason. I love love love this app for pretty much every feature it has. I use it for social media, client deliverables, documentation, Etsy projects, marketing, a tool for writer’s block… basically everything I do. It’s a one-size-fits-all app for creative work, and the Pro version is absolutely worth every penny. It allows you to remove backgrounds, use incredible features and templates unavailable in the free version, and so much more. Canva might deserve its own blog post.

    Try Canva Pro now.

  3. TODOIST:
Todoist is my favorite (you guessed it!) to-do list app. It has a simple user interface that’s consistent on both the desktop and mobile apps, you can create teams to work on projects together, you can expand upon tasks, sub tasks, categories, projects, and more. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to get their projects - and life - more organized.

  4. PLANN:
It’s very possible I’m an OG Plann user - I’m pretty sure it’s been a constant app for me since it came out years ago.

It’s absolutely my favorite content planning app, and I love the way it has a visual feature to see what your posts will actually look like on the grid once published (with an option to move around as needed!). Plus, everything else you need to prepare content in advance.

Get $10 towards your Plann subscription.

  5. A COLOR STORY:
Every photo I edit is edited in this app (videos sometimes, too!). I learned about it years ago from an interior designer’s blog and I’ve been using it ever since I have the Pro version and it has everything you need and more to create bright, breathtaking photos. I also love that it saves the steps of your recent photo edits so you can apply the same edits to multiple photos at once.

What are your favorites? Reach out on Instagram and let me know! I love learning about new tools and I know you all do, too.

xoxo, Taylor
